# DELETE /api/favorites/user

Remove (unpin) a favorite for the operating user.

Idempotent: removing a favorite that is not pinned succeeds without error and returns the same 200 response.
The favorite is identified by `entityType` + `entityId` within the operating user's own favorites,
so one user's removal never affects another user's pins.

**Operation ID:** `DELETE_api_favorites_user`

## Authorization

Requires: Favorites.Manage, merchant scope.

Required permissions:
- `Favorites.Manage`
